Nicholaston House is a Christian Retreat and Conference Centre on the Gower peninsular, an area of outstanding natural beauty.  The house offers a peaceful environment with lovely sea views.

The accommodation is of a high standard. All bedrooms are ensuite and there is a lift making the house suitable for people with mobility problems.

Getting There

Public Transport

The  nearest railway station with onward connections is Swansea, around 11 miles away. First Bus Cymru service no 118 operates from Stand A in Christina Street (about 10 minutes walk from the station) to the bus stop just past the road end at Nicholaston.  It’s a five minute walk up the side road to reach the house.  The route of the 118 varies so you need to be sure to get the one that goes via Penmaen Church or change at Killay or Reynoldston. The connection times are not good, but at the time of compiling this page there was a bus at 1705 from Swansea that should arrive in time for the start of the weekend.  There is a taxi rank at the station.

Car

The nearest motorway is the M4 bypassing Swansea. The recommended exit if coming from the east is number 42 signposted for Swansea, Abertawe and the ferry; from the west it’s junction 47 signposted for Swansea (W). From there we recommend using the larger version of the map above to find detailed instructions leading you to the house. The house is 0.2 mile from the A4118 on a side road off to the right shortly after the Nicholaston place name sign (which his also on the right of the road) and then a crossroads warning sign. Nicholason Farm entrance is opposite the road.
