The hotel is a historic building with plenty of character close to the centre of Dunstable. It has a reputation for a very high standard of food and service.  The wood panelling, exquisite furnishings and friendly atmosphere combine to make the hotel a fine venue for your weekend.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities plus hair-dryer, television, welcome tray with tea and coffee making facilities and trouser press.

Getting There

Public Transport

The nearest railway station is Leagrave about 3 miles walk from the hotel.  There is no taxi rank, though a taxi can be ordered.  The most convenient station is Luton, which is on the Midland mainline. It has frequent services from London, Brighton, Sutton (Surrey) and Bedford.  The latter offers connections from Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield etc. On the southeast side of the station is the bus interchange.  From Stand 10, buses A, B and C run every few minutes to a bus stop just beyond the hotel at the Winston Churchill pub and Quadrant Shopping Centre.  

There are also regular bus services from Leighton Buzzard and Milton Keynes.  Luton Airport is also within easy reach.

Car

The hotel is just over 2 miles from junction 11 (Luton, Dunstable) of the M1.  From the roudabout underneath the motorway take the Dunstable exit (first exit after the northbound off-ramp), which is the A505 dual carriageway (Dunstable Road). Continue for 2 miles until you pass under a new bridge and the hotel is on the right opposite a park surrounding the ancient Priory Church of St Peter
